Redlands Athletics is a summer competition club holding its season from late August through to March. Our season breaks from all competition from early to mid-December until early to mid-January each year. .
Centre Sign On is held on the two weekends leading up to our first competition day of the season. At sign on days both new & returning members will receive their Welcome Pack which includes; your new registration number, you’re Age Group Patch, a copy of the new seasons Yearbook, any sponsors patches and for new members a Parent Handbook.
At the same time as registering our Uniform Shop will be open for purchases of new or replacement items. Please note uniforms are mandatory for all registered athletes and must be worn at all Club meets, LAQ Carnivals and any Club Carnival you may attend during the season.
Age groups are determined by the athlete’s age as at 31st December, athletes born prior to this date will be in the age group of their actual age, athletes born on or after this date will compete in the next age group up. This change in date will see age groups align to that as used within the Schools system.
Redlands Athletics uses ResultsHQ to administer all registrations and athlete results. Upon registering with us you will receive your unique login details. ResultsHQ is also used by other clubs for their Club Carnivals and selected LAQ events so please keep it safe and known.
In accordance with LAQ policy we offer all new members the opportunity to trial with us for two consecutive weeks. During this time you will experience Little Athletics before making an informed decision on continuing with us or not. Should you decide to continue the amount paid to trial is offset in full against your membership cost.
Our club also provides Tiny Tot’s….a unique activity based 10 week program held in the first half of the season for eligible children aged 4 & 5 with a focus on key skills and movements necessary for transition into the U6 age group.
The club has a NO REFUND policy for new memberships, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of the two week trial period before deciding.
