A big congratulations to two of our senior QA athletes who medaled on Sunday at the 2019 QLD Cross Country Championships held at the Maleny Golf club, Maleny. This course is rated as one of the hardest cross country course in the country and is an ideal preparation for the National Championships later in the year.

In the boys U18 6,000m event Ky Robinson finished in the silver medal position with a time of 20.26 minutes which now sees him off to Nationals in Woollongong.

In the girls U17 4,000 event former Redlands Little A’s athlete Laura McKillop picked up the bronze medal with a time of 16:40 minutes.

Well done to both athletes and to all competitors on the day on what is a tough course.
