Weekly Training

Little Athletics is all about having fun through sport, and children often get great enjoyment and satisfaction when they see themselves improving. The best way to help your child improve is through practice.

At Redlands Little Athletics we offer FREE training 1 to 2 sessions (depending on age group) a week during the season where we focus on improving the skills and techniques of each child. We also hold additional Saturday training before club competition during different parts of the season. This is communicated to parents on our Facebook page the week leading up to club competition of that week.

All coaches of Redlands little athletics hold or are working towards a level 1-3 coaching accreditation

Parents are welcome to join in during these training sessions however due to insurance reasons they are unable to run an event or provide advice on an athlete’s techniques.

PARENTS MUST STAY AT TRAINING AT ALL TIMES AND ARE NOT PERMITTED TO LEAVE THE GROUNDS.

   Tiny Tots do not participate in weekly training.

Monday Training

U6 – U8 athletes 5:15 – 6pm

U9 – U10 athletes: 6:05 – 7:05pm

Wednesday Training

U11 – U12 athletes: 5:15 – 6:15PM

U13 – U17 athletes: 6:15 – 7:15PM

**** Please note weekly training is not compulsory but recommended. Each age group trains in a different event each week – athletes cannot choose where they would like to train.
