Regional Competition Excellence
Outstanding regional events that bring together the best athletes from ten South East Region clubs in high-level competition. These events offer our athletes the unique opportunity to compete as teammates in relays and individually in championships, while providing the only pathway to qualify for Queensland’s prestigious State Relays and State Championships where the best from across the entire state compete.

HART Regional Competitions
HART Regional Relays primarily provide friendly Regional Competition for all athletes in these age groups to compete in teams. Track and field relays are provided for. The track teams comprise of four (4) athletes, and the field teams comprise of the total number of nominated athletes for that age groups’ event. In addition, HART Regional Relays are a means for qualifying for the McDonald’s State Relay Championships.

Regional Championships at State Athletics Facility
Explore the individual competition held in February at the premier State Athletics Facility, where athletes compete in up to five events over two days, and how this championship serves as the mandatory pathway for U13 athletes seeking Australian Little Athletics Championships selection.

Step 1: Join Club Days
Come to our Saturday competitions to practice and learn the events before championship time starts.

Step 2: Compete for
Points Participate during the 8-week championship period where you get two tries in each event to earn your best score.

Step 3: Win Your Medal
The athletes with the most points in each age group get Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals at the end.
