What ages can participate in Junior Athletics?

The Junior Athletics program is designed for children ages 6 – 10, with specific age groups from U6 through U10 competing in appropriate events.

What time do competitions start on Saturday?

U11 – U17 age groups start at 1:00pm, while U6 – U10 groups begin at 2:00pm. Athletes should arrive 30 minutes early for attendance and organization.

How many events will my child compete in each week?

Athletes typically participate in 4-5 events per Saturday, featuring a combination of track events, field events, and sometimes development activities.

Where are the competitions held?

All Saturday competitions take place at Sheldon College, 43-77 Taylor Rd, Sheldon. Please enter via Gate 1 (Taylor Road), with plenty of street parking available.
